    Description

1874-CC Dime XF 40 Corroded, PCI. Typical of this era, these rare Carson City dimes seem to have either circulated to very low grades, or were lost and recovered much later, after the surfaces became damaged. Apparently this coin was subjected to a harsh environment for some time, and has surface damage on both sides, with spots and raised areas of corrosion. Nevertheless, this is a rare coin and it is seldom found without problems.
