    Description

PCI 1852/1 Assay Ten-Dollar VF 20. K-8, High R.5. Struck under the auspices of Moffat and Humbert, this quasi-official gold coin shows even wear on the highpoints of the design and a number of small marks in the fields. The diagnostic die crack is especially pronounced on this piece. Much original reddish color surrounds the devices. Listed on page 266 of the 1993 Guide Book.
