Description

Zog I gold 100 Franga Ari 1927-R MS62 NGC, Rome mint, KM11a.1, Fr-1, Mont-10 (R). No star below bust variety. A low-mintage large gold type for which the Standard Catalog supposes only 5,000 total pieces were minted across both Provas and business strikes. A gentle frost resides across the instantly recognizable motifs of this large gold issue of Zog, a series carrying significant premium when located in Mint State in recent years. Only light chatter precludes this pleasing specimen from even finer designations.
