    Description

Zog I gold 20 Franga Ari 1926-Fasces MS61 NGC, KM12, Fr-5. Rare variety with fasces behind the Lion of St. Mark. According to the Standard Catalog of World Coins, of the reported mintage of 100, all but 90 were melted down. Recent auction records would certainly support that idea, with only a handful of this variety appearing on the market in the last decade. A few scattered marks, but still a visibly Mint State example. An important opportunity for the collector of 20th century world gold coinage.
