    Description

NUMISMATIC LITERATURE. Lot of three (4) Volumes Relating to the Coinage of Syracuse.  Including essential references on the series, the lot includes (1) Boehringer, Erich, Don Munzen Von Syrakus (Walter De Gruyter, Berlin & Leipzig, 1929), an original edition with callotype plates // (2) Tudeer, Lauri O. Th., Die Tetradrachmenpragung Von Syrakus (W. Pormetter, Berlin, 1913), two original copies, one softbound and the one harbound // Gallatin, Albert, Syracusan Dekadrachms of the Euaintetos Type (Harvard University Press, 1930), an original hardbound edition. The last with minor damage to the spine, otherwise all editions in excellent condition. The original editions very difficult to obtain in good condition, but well worth the search due to the great superiority of the original plates!
