Lower Danube, Uncertain tribe. Early 3rd century B.C. AR tetradrachm (24 mm, 14.07 g, 11 h). Imitating Philip II of Macedon. Direct derivation, with complete legend. Laureate head of Zeus right / Jockey holding palm branch on horse prancing right; Lambdas in right field and below. Cf. CCCBM 2 (also torch below); Dessewffy 301; Preda pl. I; cf. Kostial 352-6. Toned XF, minor porosity.
