SEVERVS PIVS AVG, laureate head of Severus right / COS III LVDOS SAECVL FEC, Liber (Bacchus), wearing leopard's skin, standing right, panther at feet, holding cantharus in right hand and thyrsus in left hand, facing Hercules who stands left, holding club set on ground in right hand and lion's skin draped over left arm. RIC 257. BMCRE 314. Cohen 108. Cohen 108. Calicó 2444 (R2) (this coin illustrated). Very rare! Well struck on a broad flan, with much remaining luster.
