Bust of Christ facing, wearing nimbus crown ornamented with pellets, pallium, and colobium, raising right hand in benediction, codex in left hand / Crowned facing busts of Basil II, on left wearing loros, and Constantine VIII, on right wearing V-shaped overgarment decorated with pearls, together holding a patriarchal cross with X on shaft. Sear 1806. DOC 13b.3. Presents very nicely, with lustrous fields and a powerful, sculptural portrait of Christ. NGC AU 5/5 - 5/5.
