Michael VII. 1071-1078. EL histamenon nomisma (29 mm, 4.24 g, 6'). Constantinople. Bust of Christ facing, raising right hand in benediction and holding Gospels / Crowned facing bust of Michael, holding labarum and globus cruciger. DOC 2d; SB 1868. VF, graffito E on obverse edge, a couple of light scrapes. A very angry stare on this portrait of Christ.Auction Info
