Constantinople. • nICI-FOROS bASILЄ', bust of Nicephorus facing, with short beard, wearing crown and chlamys pinned at right shoulder, cross potent in right hand, akakia in left / StAVRA-CIS dЄSPO' X over Θ, facing bust of Stauracius, beardless, wearing crown and chlamys pinned at right shoulder, globus cruciger in right hand, akakia in left. Sear 1604. Interesting variety with the end of the reverse legend recut.
