AV histamenon nomisma (21mm, 4.41 gm, 6h).  Constantinople, AD 965-967. + IhS XIS RЄX RЄΣNANTIhM, bust of Christ Pantocrator facing, wearing cruciform nimbus, raising right hand in benediction, and holding book of Gospels cradled in left arm / З + ΘЄOTOC' ЬHΘ' hICHF' ?ЄSP', half-length facing busts of the Virgin Mary, wearing nimbus crown, stola, and maphorium, and Nicephorus, wearing crown with pendilia, and loros; between them they hold patriarchal cross; barred M ? to left.
