Anonymous Issue. Class I. Time of of Nicephorus III Botaniates (ca. AD 1078-1081). AE follis (23mm, 7h). NGC Choice VF. IC-XC, bust of Christ facing, wearing nimbus cruciger with pellet in each arm, pallium, and colobium, raising right hand in benediction, book of Gospels in left hand / Latin cross with X at center, globe and two pellets at each extremity, floral ornament in either side of lower fields, crescents in either side of upper fields.
