    The Veneti. 2nd century BC. AV stater (21mm, 8.01 gm, 9h). Male head right with serpentine motif above, atop his head, boar standing right / Charioteer, holding flail with exaggerated tail, galloping right, drawn by a man-headed horse; below, prostate winged figure right. Cf. Delestrée & Tache 2096 and 2099. Tour 6826, pl. XXIII. Die flaw on reverse. Very rare! Good Very Fine.
