EASTERN EUROPE. The Eravisci. Ca. 1st century BC. AR denarius (19mm, 4.43 gm, 7h). NGC Choice XF 5/5 - 3/5, brushed. Imitating L. Roscius Fabatus. Head of Juno Sospita right, wearing goat skin headdress; branch behind, crescent (?) with pellet before / Priestess standing left, feeding coiled serpent right before; four small pellets around large pellet behind, blundered legend in exergue. Freeman 11/N (pl. 29, 15). CCCBM I S247.
