    Paneas (Caesarea Paneas), Galilee. Caracalla, as Caesar (AD 198-217). Æ 21mm (7.51 gm). Dated CY 199 (AD 196). Laureate bust right / Pan standing left, playing flute, leaning on tree trunk; ΘЧ P (date) across field. Cf. Meshorer, Paneas, 12 (Severus). Very rare and possibly unique. Green patina with earthen highlights. Very Fine.
