Alexander III the Great (336-323 BC). AV stater (18mm, 8.51 gm, 6h).  Uncertain mint in Asia Minor, circa 323-300 BC. Head of Athena right wearing triple-crested Corinthian-type helmet decorated with leaping griffin, pushed back on head, hair in corkscrew curls / BAΣIΛEΩΣ (on left) AΛEΞANΔ-POY, Nike standing left, holding wreath and stylis; monogram in lower left field. Price --; cf. 2957 (Side) for style. A few marks in fields, otherwise Good Very Fine.

A very unusual legend split, with BAΣIΛEΩΣ on the right and the royal name on the left. Seemingly unrecorded thus.
