Description

Cilicia, Nagidos. Ca. 400-385/4 B.C. AR stater (23 mm, 10.66 g, 3'). Aphrodite seated left, holding phiale over altar before her at feet; to right, Eros standing left, crowning her with wreath / Dionysos standing left, holding grape bunch and thyrsos; uncertain letter to lower left. Lederer 26 (same dies); Casabonne type 4; SNG BN -. EF, lustrous, light die rust, die-break on obverse as typically seen on this die.
