LUCANIA. Thurium. Ca. 350-310 BC. AR nomos (7.77 gm). Head of Athena right wearing helmet adorned with Skylla hurling stone / Bull charging right, head lowered, ΣΩΓ above, ketos (?) in exergue. Cf. SNG ANS 978. Obverse struck from a worn and corroded die. Iridescent toning. Very fine.Auction Info
