Description

MACEDONIAN KINGDOM. Alexander III the Great (336-323 BC). AR tetradrachm (16.69 gm).  Sidon, undated (?), ca.  332/1-324/3 BC. Head of Heracles right, wearing lion skin headdress  / Zeus seated left, holding eagle and scepter, ΣI below throne. Price 3475 (undated), or 3501 (Year 13 [N]). NGC Choice XF 4/5 - 4/5.

The appears to be some kind of symbol or numeral in the reverse left field, the normal spot for a date, but it was struck from a partially filled die and is  thus very difficult to make out. It could be a Y (Sidonian CY 1), an N (year 13); or the marking could be small defect in an otherwise blank (undated) field.
