MACEDONIAN KINGDOM. Alexander III the Great (336-323 BC). AR tetradrachm (29mm, 17.04 gm, 11h). Uncertain mint in Greece or Macedonia, ca. 310-275 BC. Head of Heracles right, wearing lion-skin headdress / ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟY, Zeus seated left, holding eagle and scepter. Price 844. Rare.
