MACEDONIAN KINGDOM. Perseus (179-168 BC). AR tetradrachm (30mm, 15.42 gm, 11h). Pella or Amphipolis, ca. 171-168 BC.  Diademed head of Perseus right / BAΣI-ΛEΩΣ ΠEP-ΣEΩΣ, eagle standing right on thunderbolt, with wings spread; monograms above, to right, and between legs below; all within oak wreath; plow right below. Mamroth, Perseus 23. Attractive iridescent toning. Extremely Fine.
