    MACEDONIAN KINGDOM. Philip II (359-336 BC). AR tetradrachm (23mm, 14.19 gm, 7h). Posthumous issue of Pella, under Philip III Arrhidaeus, circa 323-318/7 BC. Head of Zeus left in fine style, wearing laurel wreath / ΦIΛIΠ-ΠOY, youth, holding palm in right hand, rein in left, on horseback right; Θ below horse's raised foreleg. Sunrise 150 (this coin). Le Rider 437 (D231/R358). SNG ANS 430 (same obv. die). Rare with left-facing head of Zeus! A lovely example from a well-known reference collection. NGC AU 5/5 - 4/5, Fine Style.
