ATTICA. Athens. Ca. 165-42 BC. AR tetradrachm (31mm, 16.54 gm, 12h). NGC XF 5/5 - 3/5. New Style coinage, struck 91-90 BC, Zenokles and Armoxenos, magistrates. Head of Athena right, wearing triple-crested Attic helmet decorated with vine scroll, leaping griffin and quadriga / A-ΘE / ΞE-NO / KΛHΣ / APMO / ΞE / NOΣ, owl standing right, head facing, on overturned amphora with Γ (date), dolphin and trident to right.
