Simon (Paleo-Hebrew), bunch of grapes in three lobes hanging from branch, tendril to left, leaf to right / For the freedom of Jerusalem (Paleo-Hebrew), fluted jug, handle on left. Hendin 1434. TJC 286. AJC II 275, 69. Overstruck on a denarius of Trajan, with a significant amount of the obverse legend still visible on the rim of the reverse.Auction Info
