TIBЄ-PIAC within wreath / HPWΔOY TЄTPAPXOY (of Herod the Tetrarch); date L - ΛΓ across fields; palm branch upright. Hendin 1203. TJC 79. AJC II 242, 5. RPC 4922. Well struck and possessing great eye appeal. Dark green patina with light earthen fields. Good Very Fine.

NOTE: This coin, while authentic, bears evidence of tooling that was not noticed or cited in the original catalog description. The tooling is not, in our opinion, egregious enough to merit withdrawal of the lot, but potential bidders should be aware of the alteration.
