Judaea. Yehud. Ca. 350-333 B.C. AR hemiobol (7 mm, .21 g, 10 h). Yehezqiyah, governor. Crude facing head / Owl standing right, head facing; Paleo-Hebrew inscription "Yehezqiyah the Governor". TJC 22b; AJC I 116; Hendin 430. Good VF, toned. Exceptional for the issue.One of the few Yehud issues to name a living individual. He may be the same person as the Hezekiah mentioned as high priest under Ptolemy I. If they are indeed the same it may push the date for these coins closer to the end of the fourth century B.C.
