    SASANIAN KINGDOM. Shapur I the Great (AD 240-272). AR obol (13mm, 0.64 gm, 2h).  Ctesiphon mint. Bust of Shapur right, wearing turreted and globed tiara / Fire altar flanked by two attendants. Göbl Type I/1. SNS Type IIb/1a, style A. Rare and quite exceptional in this condition. Choice Extremely Fine.
