    TABARISTAN. Sulayman (AD 787-789). AR hemidrachm (24mm, 1.80 gm, 9h). NGC MS 4/5 - 3/5. Crowned Sasanian style bust facing, face replaced by rhombus reading "bakh", three pellets on breastplate, rosette style star on shoulders; Pahlavi across fields, open double linear border with star-in-crescent motif at 3, 6, and 9h, excellent and good (Pahlavi) in 2nd and 3rd quarters / Fire altar flanked by attendants; stars flanking flames; date to left, mint to right; alternating triple pellets and star-in-crescents in outer margin.
