CAESARI-AVGVSTO, laureate head of Augustus right / S • P | Q • R, triumphal chariot car standing right with shaft upwards, containing aquila and surmounted by four miniature galloping horses; all within domed tetrastyle temple. RIC I, 119. RSC 279. Incredibly well-struck, with deep toning and rainbow highlights.
