    East Roman Empire. Zeno (475-492). AV solidus (4.25 gm). Constantinople, second reign, AD 476-491. Diademed, helmeted and cuirassed bust of Zeno facing 3/4 right, holding spear over right shoulder and shield with horseman motif on right arm / Victory standing left holding long cross, CONOB in exergue. RIC 910. Depeyrot 108/1. Planchet or die flaw in lower right quadrant of reverse, small reddish discoloration on obverse, otherwise nearly extremely fine.
