Theodosius II. A.D. 402-450. AV solidus (21 mm, 4.37 g). Constantinople, A.D. 408-423. Diademed, helmeted and cuirassed bust facing slightly right, holding spear and shield decorated with horseman motif / Constantinopolis enthroned facing, head right, foot on prow, holding sceptre and Victory on globe; (Gamma)/CONOB. RIC 202; Depeyrot 73/2. Good VF, obverse graffiti, light deposits.
