IMP CAES VESPASIAN AVG P M TR P P P COS III, laureate head of Vespasian right /  IVDAEA  CAPTA around, S C in exergue, bearded Jew standing right facing palm tree, his hands tied behind his back; on other side of tree veiled female figure (Judaea) seated right on cuirass in attitude of mourning, resting left elbow on knee and supporting head with her left hand; behind the Jew, two shields and two spears; before Judaea, round shield. RIC II 59. Hendin 1500. Light brown patina ranging to brick red. No tooling or smoothing. A pleasing Very Fine / Good Very Fine.
