Julius Caesar. 46-45 B.C. AR denarius (19 mm, 3.85 g, 5 h). Uncertain mint in Spain. Diademed head of Venus left; Cupid and lituus before, sceptre behind / Trophy with shields between seated figures of Gaulish captive and Gallia. Crawford 468/2; HCRI 59; Sydenham 1015; RSC 14. Toned VF, minor porosity.
