Julius Caesar. 45 B.C. AE dupondius (28 mm, 13.93 g, 12 h). North Italian mint. C. Clovius, prefect. Draped bust of Victory right; star behind / Minerva advancing left, holding trophy, spear, and shield; erect serpent at her feet. Crawford 476/1a; HCRI 62; RPC 601/1; Sydenham 1025. Near XF, dark green patina, some spots of active corrosion.
