Laureate head of Apollo right; scroll behind / Q • POMPONI MVSA, Clio, the Muse of History, wearing long tunic left, holding and reading from a scroll and leaning on column. Crawford 410/3. Sydenham 813. RSC Pomponia 11. A few minor deposits ion obverse field, otherwise sharply struck from dies of fine style and beautifully toned, with hints of natural iridescence.
