Draped bust of Mercury right, wearing winged petasus, caduceus over left shoulder; E behind / C•MAMIL-LIMETAN (TA ligate), Ulysses walking right, grounded staff in left hand, extending hand to greet his dog, Argus, at feet to right. This wonderful reverse type depicts the moment when Ulysses, disguised as a beggar, finally reaches home after his ten years of wondering, and his dog Argus instantly recognizes him.
