C. Poblicius Q.f. (ca. 80 BC). AR serratus denarius (19mm, 3.90 gm, 4h). NGC MS 5/5 - 3/5, brushed. Rome. ROMA, draped bust of Roma right, wearing Apulo-Corinthian helmet with eagle-head crest and side plumes; B above / C•POBLICI•Q•F, Hercules striding left, wrestling the Nemean lion; club left between feet, bow and quiver in left field, B in upper left field. Crawford 380/1. Sydenham 768. Poblicia 9. Pleasant detail on reverse.
