Thieu Tri gold Tien ND (1841-1847) AU58 NGC, KM331, Sch-295, S&H-3.16.2. 3.91gm. Tam Da ("The Three Abundances") type. A minimally available type witnessed at auction once every year or so, and rarely in comparable states of preservation or with visual character. Certified at the cusp of a Mint State assignment and embellished with amber tones throughout, the example on offer remains tied for the finest certified by NGC with two others, and should find itself a prime target for the Annamese specialist.From the Peh Family Collection, Part III
