Description
Tu Duc gold 5 Tien, ND (1848-83), Tu Duc Thong Bao/Phu Tho, Da Nam, KM538, Sch-408, 17.36 gm, XF45 NGC. Crudely produced, as are many of the larger Annam gold pieces, with nice detail and a few minor flan flaws. An extremely rare issue and the only example that we have seen. Ex: Palace Collection of King Farouk, sold by Sotheby's in 1954.Auction Info
