Description

Tu Duc silver 2 Lang ND (1848-1883), unlisted in this denomination, toned AU with a trace of repair at 6 & 12 o'clock. 75.90 grams and 87 mm. Extremely rare - this is the only example we can trace.

We have found that another example was sold in Superior's sale of the Irving Goodman Collection on June 4, 1991, lot 1976. This example was also pierced at the top and bottom (but with no repair). This remains an extremely rare type with only 2-3 examples known.
