    Description

    EGYPT - HOLY LAND. Bronze Age through Ptolemaic era. Lot of three small antiquities. Includes (1) a Late Dynastic (26th or later) fragmentary faience amulet of Isis wearing a tall headdress, one hand clasped to bosom; 1.75" (4.5 cm) tall, the piece is broken at the upper waist and mounted on a wood block stand; (2) Ptolemaic era terracotta head, 2.25" (5.5 cm) tall, of a young male wearing a Pharaohnic nemes headdress. Mounted on black block stand; (3) a small wheel-thrown Holy Land one-handled clay juglet 5" (13 cm) tall, with bulbous body and flaring mouth, ca. Bronze Age II A, 1400-1300 BC. Juglet comes with a custom black tripod stand. THREE PIECES IN LOT.
