    Description

    ETRURIA. Etruscan terracotta votive head of a youth, ca. 3rd century BC. The solemn, handsome youth wears a hooded cloak, his long hair rippling down the back of his neck. 11" (29 cm) tall, rests on custom 2" black base. Nose exhibits some damage, otherwise intact.

    From the Estate of Gloria and Melville B. Nimmer, Westwood, CA. Acquired from Royal Athena Galleries, 9 January 1985.
