DescriptionGREEK SOUTHERN ITALY. Apulia and Campania. Ca. 350-275 BC. Lot of four blackware vessels. Includes a plain blackware skyphos, or wine cup, 2.5" (6.4 cm) tall and 5" (13 cm) across handles; a footed kylix, or broad, flat wine cup with two handles, 5.85" (14.75 cm) in diameter and 8.25" (21 cm) across handles; an olpe or juglet, 2.5" (6.5 cm) tall, and a small bowl, 3.5" (9.5 cm) across. The kylix expertly recomposed from fragments, otherwise all pieces intact and unrestored. FOUR PIECES IN LOT.
