Description

Republic Peso 1881 MS64 NGC, KM29, Elizondo-32, CJ-12. These first-year Argentinian silver Pesos surface to market in meaningful states of preservation with extreme infrequency. This near-Gem selection is two points finer than the Cape Coral specimen and the sole-finest graded example at NGC and PCGS. This three-year series boasts a particularly memorable rendition of a "capped Liberty" figure, by Oudine, that was repurposed for other Argentinian issue for years to come. For high-end collectors of the series, this is a momentous offering.
