La Rioja. Provincial 8 Reales 1838-R MS64 NGC, La Rioja mint, KM8, CJ-55.1. Coin rotation. On the threshold of Gem with twinkles of luster that illuminate the devices, framed by a thin ring of charcoal that encases the overall picture, creating a presentation worthy of its superior assignment. Only two of the over forty examples certified by NGC grade higher; a feat not surprising given its Lissner pedigree.
