    Description

Victoria gold "Shield" Sovereign 1880-M AU53 PCGS, Melbourne mint, KM6, S-3854. A delectable offering featuring the shield reverse motif, presenting a touch of amber color at the peripheries and only a limited amount of friction across the high points. Several smaller ticks scatter the fields, but are well within the confines of the designated grade. A rarity in any grade, the present coin is one of only 7 examples thus far graded by PCGS and is only the third example (and first certified example!) that we have ever offered.
