    Description

    A Very Rare Date

Victoria gold "Shield" Sovereign 1886-M AU55 PCGS, Melbourne mint, KM6, S-3854. Notable as the key date in the Victoria Sovereign series, this present selection displays matte-like centers, with an obverse that contains a ring of glossy luster that circles the legend. The surfaces are minimally abraded and the raised features express limited wear across the higher points--all of which align with the designated grade. Very collectible at all levels, but extremely rare and highly-desired at this level of technical quality.
