CAROLVS • DEI • G • | • ARCHIDVX •, armored and crowned figure of Karl standing facing, scepter in right hand, resting left on hip, sheathed sword on left hip / • AVSTRIÆ • ET • CARINTHIÆ • ZC • 83, crowned arms of Carinthia. An extraordinarily high quality ducat of Emperor Maximilian's younger brother, nearly reflective in the fields without bending or chipping. Only the second example of this date we can find becoming available in recent years, with the other significantly bent and lower grade.
