Franz I gold Ducat 1830-A MS64 NGC, Vienna mint, KM2171. A relatively short-lived series that is not often encountered at this level of Mint State, showing the impossibly-bold illustrations of the Emperor and reverse double-headed eagle motif, all in high-definition. Seemingly endless luster surrounds the devices, providing a warm, golden background for the motifs. Scarce so fine, and desirable thusly.Metal: Gold
