Description

Franz Joseph I 2 Taler 1867-A MS64 NGC, Vienna mint, KM2250, Dav-24. An oversized Crown-type silver emission struck for circulation purposes for Austria, under Franz Joseph I, during a three-year period from 1865 through 1867. This is the largest Austrian commercial silver issue of it's era and struck in limited quantities; qualities that make these prized by collectors. This luxurious, near-Gem specimen sits atop NGC's census records for the date, seldom available at this elite conditional tier.
